Food Review at Alt. Pizza

Hi all, I've left this space for so long, and before reviewing Alt. Pizza, i'll just like to say thank you so much to all those who have been reading this space!

I really didn't expect so many of you to be reading this space and some of you have even personally contacted me! I'm very glad to be helping you out with any of your queries, so feel free to ask away! I'll really try my best to consistently update this space but with the demands of school sometimes it gets really hard to do so.

Nonetheless, i'll be planning on writing about some of my travels (which was what i've been up to last year). Look out for my posts on:
  • Studying abroad in Sydney
  • Travelling around Sydney
  • Travelling around Cairns
  • Travelling around Melbourne
  • Travelling around Tasmania

I'll definitely get on to writing on those!

Anyway, i spent the last day of the new year with Gab and we decided to redeem our free old school pizza at Alt. pizza. They're currently offering a free old school pizza if you're dining there for your first time! It's part of their loyalty program, whereby you download their app and you could redeem their old school pizza.

So that's what we did! I really like Alt. Pizza because of their very reasonably priced pizzas. And the interior decor of the whole place really appeals to me! Oh and by the way, this post is not sponsored. :)

I've been to Alt. Pizza before sometime in November 2014. See my review here: http://doriateo.blogspot.sg/2014/11/new-hangout-at-alt-pizza.html.

I tried different things at Alt. Pizza this time. The first is their artichoke & spinach dip.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip ($10)

We absolutely love their artichoke & spinach dip! In fact this is a must-try! We say quite a few other tables ordering this too. Every time we head to Alt. Pizza, we would definitely order this as well.

Their dip consists of artichoke, spinach, parmesan and roasted garlic. Not sure how they made their dip but this was so creamy and good. We finished all of the dip!

This came with a serving of sea salt flat bread and their flat bread is perfect! It was soft but still had texture to it. I love that their flat bread is a little burnt as well!

Old School Pizza ($12)
Here's the free old school pizza that we got from our last visit! This pizza is garnished with oregano and topped with mozzarella cheese and parmesan. For the pizza base, they gave us a very generous spread of tomato sauce. BUT this comes with roasted garlic chili oil as well.

Unfortunately, this pizza was a miss, particularly because i felt that this was too spicy for my liking! And it was a little bland too. So if i would to pay for this, i probably wouldn't.

Gab couldn't decide what to get

Really loving the interior decorations! It's so retro!
If you're craving for pizza, this would be a good place to head too. It's generally more affordable compared to the other pizza places. There were some hits and some misses, but the excellent customer service made up for the misses. The waitresses were all really polite and were constantly refilling our glasses.

I'm glad to know that Alt. Pizza recently expanded and now they have an other outlet at Katong! Also they've introduced buffets to their menu too– you get a free flow of pizza and drinks if i'm not wrong!

There's no doubt i would head to Alt. Pizza again. Perhaps, i'll try dining at their new outlet in Katong.
